State time

Once again we get 50 minutes of being talked down to. I guess they think it works, maybe does.
The first 15 minutes must have been written by some Hollywood script writer. Tear jerking.
Then it was the same won't back down, done so good, my way is best, can't stop now.

As you might guess, if George were to do what I wish.
He would admit that he has failed completely to comprehend reality. He would apologies for being duped by his advisors and vice president. He would call for the arrest of Cheney and Rumsfeld for treason and resign noting that he can't be held responsible as he was never legally elected.

More Surprise?

Subject: More Surprise?

Fatha is not at all pleased with the election results and they are making it known. Well it is really the people who stand their positions who are rioting and blaming their leaders for allowing the opposition to win.
The PLO leaders are not happy and I can guess their trying to figure out how keep some control. It is so simple. Power gets control which gets wealth which can be spread out a bit to keep support and maintain power. They've had it for 40 years and that won't change easily despite the vote.]
Hamas has got to be thinking real hard about how their going to take their mandate and do something with it. They are going to need money quick. They need to form a government that will work and that will mean taking charge of a lot of existing structure. None of this will be easy with civil unrest that might become civil war like what has happened in Iraq, which is exactly the same situation. Look, the mostly Sunni Baht had power for 35 years with all the included perks. We destroyed that and elections shifted the mandate to the have nots and that has not sat well so we have a kind of guerrilla civil war.

The biggest problem Hamas faces is reconciling their political stance with reality. The people who elected them don't want war. They don't want to kill all Jews.
What they want is to get along with Israel so they can get jobs in Israel and have a better life.
Strangely enough they have my best wishes.

Surprise

Somebody said "be careful with your wishes" or something like that. The results of the election in Palestine should be no surprise. Arafat is gone, Sharon is a goner and the yahoos left in charge are not real well organized. Arafat played the game well but he never wanted peace. Sharon was a fool to think that returning some land would appease anyone. In fact it was a show of weakness.
The fact is, the Israel man in the street wants Palestine to shut up and leave us alone because we deserved what we have. While the Moslem man in the street thinks Israel has no right to anything should drop dead.
If you have a real election where everybody can vote, the poor will vote for the guy that reflects their feelings. They may not like the warring but they sure don't like Israel.
Things are going to be very interesting in the middle east.

Israle worries

Israle has some big problems. Palistine is voting and hamas is running. What a twist. A proclamed terrisost orginization is running canadates in a national election. It is so unreal but true. They will surely win some seats. Perhaps they will be subdued by legitatamasion and accountability? This seems unlikely, but things in the middle east make no sense at all.
Iran will get their bomb if they trully want it. I just don't see how the west can stop them.
Now what can happen? Iran's head man spouts hate of Israle but does the country truly follow him? Iran is not a backwater place, but itis possible that the first thing they would do after building a bomb is buy a Russian missale and test it on Tyran.
Meanwhile USA, UK, Europe and Japan all get oil from Iran who says: mess with us and we turn off the tap.
Oh yea and then there is North Korea jumping up and down saying Hey we already got the bomb! Hey we could use it. Hey! are you listening?
What a mess.

Iran and the Bomb

What a mess. Iran says they just want nuclear power plants, like we have and UK and France and India and china. They have the money and can buy what tech they don't have now.
We and the UN and others think they want to build a bomb. Now Iran hates Israel. Western Europe and USA supports Israel.
Problem.
North Korea has Nuclear power and ? Bomb. We and UN do nothing. Likewise for India, Pakistan ,and China.
Iran has oil. Lots of Oil. Lots of money. Can say No OIL.
What a mess.
Big talk about what to do.
Truth is can do NOTHING.
Russia and France are willing to sell to Iran. Pakistan too.
Truth is we need Iran oil.
Big talk end with
Iran, welcome to nuclear power. Please don't make bomb.
